Rising Up

An excerpt from Radical Intuition
by Kim Chestney

Throughout the ages, the most extraordinary human beings — from Einstein, DaVinci, and Joan of Arc to Steve Jobs, Oprah, and Stephen Hawking — have attested to one common factor as the secret to their life success: Intuition.

In her new book Radical Intuition: A Revolutionary Guide to Using Your Inner Power, author Kim Chestney reveals an all new understanding of intuition and how to use it to live an extraordinary life. We hope you will enjoy this excerpt from the book.

First, we awaken, then we arise. Once we have claimed our power, all that is left is for us to rise into it. To do this, we have to take action. To be mindful, alone, is not enough; to be insightful, alone, is not enough. We must wake up to our truth, then actively follow it forward — stepping up and into all that is possible.

One day, in your practice of insightfulness, you may look back on your old self and barely recognize the person you once were. You may notice that you have become so much more, unaffected by the wounds, the ignorance, and the fears that once imprisoned you. You may notice that a vast sense of ease and wonder has taken over your life, replacing any nagging existential angst. All of these experiences are hallmarks of the intuitive life.

These are just a few of the joys that await as you rise into the best version of yourself — your true, abiding, unbroken nature. It is never too late to return to yourself. Despite all the trials and hardships of life, none of us are broken. None of us can be broken because we were made to be unbreakable. Your intuition will show you that, time and again, if you follow it.

As you ascend back into your true nature — you are whole, finally. To get there, you may have to face the darkness; you will have to release anything that is holding you back. Carrying with you only the things that take you higher, each day you rise higher and higher — and closer and closer to your indestructible essence.

Once you have reconnected with your real nature, nothing can harm you. When you live by the world, you die by the world. When you live by the inner wisdom that is beyond the world, you rise above it all.

The Superconscious Shift

Once you begin to live insightfully, everything changes. From a higher, more-conscious vantage point, you see the world clearly. You have the potential to understand all of your life situations, challenges, and opportunities from a position of elevated awareness. Day by day, with each intuition honored, you lift yourself up and out of unconsciousness and into conscious and superconscious existence.

This is the shift we have all been waiting for, dreaming of. This is the impossible place where we can touch the mystery. Here, fully awake for the first time, we can live in tune with what was once unknowable, imperceptible. This shift is not a final destination; it is a connection that we bring into our life. We fortify that connection with every insightful choice we make and every bright new idea we bring into the world.

Living insightfully is not only rising into higher awareness but staying there. It’s not enough to have a breakthrough; we need to wholly implement the wisdom that made that breakthrough possible. This commitment is what makes the difference between “an awakening” and “being awakened.”

To stay awake, we must live more consciously — and more superconsciously. The more we live intuitively, the more superconscious we become. If we are living unconsciously, we will have very few genuine intuitions; even if we do, they will be clouded by dissonant thoughts and emotions. On the other hand, as we evolve into higher levels of awareness, our intuition naturally resonates through our insightful thoughts and feelings. As we begin to live in trust with life, the unconscious thoughts and feelings that hold us back are less likely to take hold within us.
