“By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail.”
This is true of anything we do in life, whether it’s studying for an exam, preparing for a job interview, an important conversation, a new journey, etc., etc., it is in our own self-interest to prepare beforehand. It reminds me of baking a cake. You may make a list and shop for the ingredients you know you’ll need. Then comes the mixing bowl, the utensils you’ll need, turning on the oven to the required temperature. Don’t forget to wash your hands! Now to follow the recipe and trust that, by taking the time necessary to do all this preparation, the resulting “cake” will be a success. Simple!
