When I was four and five years old, I had nightly recurring dreams of a man whose face was hidden by a scarf or something - all I could see of him were his green eyes. He would come from the window by my bed and carry me away, essentially kidnapping me. I was scared in my dream but I never kicked, screamed or resisted. I always let him take me away. I still remember these dreams, but they especially came to mind when I met a great guy with the same green eyes recently. We met about a month ago and have now talked a lot and spent a lot of time together. I'm in love with him and I think he feels the same way about me, but there's something very weird between us. It's like we've known each other before somehow. We have the same thoughts at the same time and frequently make the same comments. We've even had the same dreams about our relationship! We strongly believe there is some psychic connection between us and we would like to know what it is. Could he be the guy from my childhood dreams? Could we be soul mates, or did we cross paths in a past life? I'd really like to know.

If your dreams were about a past incarnation with this person, perhaps he actually did carry you away
at night. It could have been a kidnapping, but it also could have been that he was taking you away to protect you from harm. My psychic feeling is that you are dreaming of him rescuing you in a past life, rather than kidnapping you, and that you were in some kind of unsafe situation at that time.
He was much older than you were in the past incarnation you were dreaming about. He could have been your brother, father or friend before, but this time around he is not related to you in any way that would prevent romance from blooming.
I'm so glad that you've found each other again! Often we don't find the person of our dreams in our current incarnation, or we find them at a time that won't work for us because one or both of us is committed to other people.

I like your description of "getting caught." That's exactly what it feels like, isn't it? One minute you're free and hovering above the room, and the next minute, ZAP! back down into your corporeal form you go!
As a little kid, I loved that "feeling of return." With practice, most of the time we can control that event, but sometimes, when our physical ears hear a distracting noise or something else occurs to knock us back into reality, back we go. With practice you will be able to control your return better.
I find it interesting that you were visiting your mother-in-law and not someone in your own genetic family. Evidently, you and your husband got married for reasons that are even deeper than love. His family's interest in "psychic stuff" will nurture your children in such matters and help them to grow into their own abilities.
