The degree to which we are at peace with life is a barometer for our spiritual health. When we're content and peaceful, it means we're in harmony with our true selves, our energy is vibrating at a high level, and we're in tune with spiritual law and divine truth. Anxiety, stress and worry are symptoms of spiritual "dis-ease". They're caused by indulging in negative thoughts, habits and addictions that endlessly drain our vitality and distract us from the truth. If we are at peace within regardless of what is happening around us, we can rest assured that we're in good shape spiritually.
