A man’s dying is more the survivors’ affair than his own.
– Thomas Mann
It is much harder for us to lose
someone to death than to die, for dying is a release from fear and worry, pain and suffering. When someone we care about dies, the most loving thing we can do is take care of ourselves and try to find new peace, for this frees the departed from worrying about us, and encourages them to move forward in their new lives beyond.
