Now why would you want to be somebody else in the first place? Saying that, just by being aware of all the magazines, TV programmes and advertising that bombard the younger among us, this seems to be the case. They appear to actively encourage our younger generation to venerate the “celebrities” they promote. I’m sure that, just like me, you see them for what most of them actually are, i.e. self-obsessed, vacuous, airheads, who regard a chipped or broken finger nail as a major crisis, and that’s just the men! Seriously, we need to do our bit in ensuring that the youngsters under our influence, realise that they are very special, unique individuals, who can accomplish great things in life just by being who they were born to be.
