– Yehuda Berg
Some of the wisest, kindest and most spiritual people I have known were at some point in the past some of the most messed up: They were alcoholics or drug addicts, cheaters or quitters or liars and even thieves. Sadly, I have also known some really wonderful people who changed for the worse over time: they became more and more rigid, judgmental, self-focused, cranky and/or cynical. We are all constantly changing throughout our lives. Indeed, we can change so much that it’s like we become entirely new people. Whatever you’ve done, wherever you’ve been, it doesn’t have to determine where you’ll end up or who you’ll become in the future. If every day, you strive to be a little kinder, a little happier, a little bit more tolerant and generous, you will eventually completely transform yourself, your life, your relationships and the world around you.
