When we’re anxious to persuade someone to agree with us, it’s tempting to exaggerate or twist the facts around to look a certain way. Instead of making a stronger impression, however, this usually just diminishes our credibility and taints the karma of the situation. Even if others aren’t conscious of our exaggeration, at an energetic level, they will sense something is not quite right and react against it instead of aligning with us. Let the facts speak for themselves. Even if you don’t achieve the desired effect, at least your integrity will remain intact.
