There is tremendous freedom to be found in apologizing, in admitting we made a mistake or were wrong, in letting go of rigid beliefs and opinions and simply saying, I don’t know.
There is sweet relief in deciding to allow ourselves to be imperfect and in allowing others to be imperfect too. I’ve decided to relish saying, I’m sorry! I think I was wrong about that!
and Who am I to tell you what do to? I sure don’t have all the answers,
for it promotes an ease and lightness that actually feel better than needing to have it all figured out.
