mismatch

You reach a point in the conflict where you just need to let it go and allow the person to follow his or her path, even if you don’t agree with it. Bless them and wish them a good life.

As we travel along our spiritual paths, we all become better and better lovers: we love life more, we love exploring new experiences more, and we look for the good in everyone we meet so we can love them too. As we keep our hearts open to whoever and whatever may come our way, we may find ourselves caught up in all sorts of situations we would have skirted around in the past, such as relationships that never seem to flow with the peace and harmony we are hoping to enjoy. It’s great to stay open-hearted and to love everyone, but it’s also wise to surrender to the path of least resistance instead of trying to force relationships to go in the direction we think they should go. If connecting with someone often feels bad, that’s our own inner guidance telling us that the relationship in question is not a true match to what we really want. If we listen to our feelings and let go of trying to force it, we will naturally begin to flow toward connections and experiences that feel better to us.
