innerpeace

We may ignore, but we can nowhere evade the presence of God. The world is crowded with Him. He walks everywhere incognito.
– C.S. Lewis

It’s easy to see the divine in the beauty of nature, in loving encounters and interactions, in births and weddings and lucky breaks, but can you see the divine in the trash on the side of the road, in the mother angrily yanking on her toddler’s hand, in deaths and divorces, cancer and life’s endless hardships? We’re all aiming for this fine line that is often described as living in the world but not of it, which means that we’re in the game and we care about what happens, but at the same time, we’re at peace if things don’t go the way we personally think they should. There is only one way I know to find our way to that fine line where we’re fully alive but also at peace, and that is through spiritual practice like meditation. By letting go of judging all we encounter as good or bad, and simply noticing it without attachment or resistance, we move into vibrational harmony with awareness that everything is perfectly imperfect, and All Is Well.
