The strangest thing happened today while I was busy cooking supper. The rice was cooking on the front burner, and the pot of food on the back burner of the stove. My two-year-old grandson was playing around on the kitchen floor. As I was busy wiping the surfaces of the counter and table, I had the strangest feeling that I should move him from the side where he was playing to the farthest side away from the stove. I just had a very bad feeling, so I did it.
You will not believe this, but the stand the boiling kettle of water was standing on gave way, and all the boiling water splattered to the ground. I was in shock because had my grandson been on the side that I removed him from, the boiling water would have splashed all over him and he would have been severely burned. Luckily, because I had moved him, he was just splattered a tiny bit, and was more shocked than injured.
I was nearly speechless; the only words that came out my mouth were, Thank you, Lord!
I think that my angels were forewarning me of an accident that could have had very serious consequences.
