[title size=”2″]A Reminder about Self-Worth[/title]

One night around 3 a.m. I awoke feeling some dampness around my feet. As I tried to sit up, I looked down at my feet and gazed upon three beautiful, pure white angels. I thought my eyes were deceiving me. As I started rubbing my feet, an overwhelming calm and loving feeling came over me. Well, I couldn’t just ignore that!
And what do you think these angels were doing? They were washing my feet! “How unbelievably special” I thought, and they just looked up at me and said, “You are special! Please always remember that you are loved.” At once, my heart was bursting with joy, acceptance of who I am, and gratitude. And, I didn’t want it to end! I remember feeling like this as a child; now, it felt like it was yesterday. Yet, why had I forgotten?
I heard them say, “Remember you are worthy.” Then, in an instant, they were gone.
As I sat there trying to collect my thoughts, I felt I had to get up and wipe off my feet. They felt clammy and damp, like after a bath or having just walked out of the ocean.
So I got up, went into the bathroom, dried my feet and calves, and then looked in the mirror. Did this really just happen? As I gazed upon my reflection in the mirror, I was smiling, and repeated to myself, “You are worth it!”
At the time, I was feeling very lacking in the self-worth department. From that day forward, my sense of worthiness and esteem has changed. Whenever I think back on that night, a huge smile comes across my face, my heart expands and I get goose bumps all over my body.
Then I say, “Thank you angels and the Universe. I am worthy! I am special! I am who I am!”
