Over the years, I’ve gone through periods in my life when the world was so full of magic and Spirit that even I had a hard time believing it all. I’ve also gone through periods that were so ordinary and mundane that I started to doubt all the amazing stuff I had experienced before. The difference? Without a doubt, it was when I was actively dialoguing with Spirit – asking for guidance, boldly acting on the guidance I received, intently studying spiritual subjects, engaging in regular spiritual practice, and stretching myself to heal and work through big issues – that my world was most alive with the Divine. The more we invite ‘God’ in by courting spiritual experience like a lover who can think of nothing but the one he loves, the more we’re blessed by all sorts of wondrous and amazing experiences.
