Most of us who were raised in the West have been taught only half of the manifesting equation: we’ve been taught to struggle and strive, and when faced with failure, to assume that we’re just not working hard enough. When it comes to working with the law of attraction, however, struggling is like using a golf club to catch a butterfly: the harder we swing, the more frustrated and exhausted we tend to feel, and the more what we’re after flits forever beyond our grasp. When we finally give up and go take a nap in the hammock, we begin to dream sweet dreams again, and when we open our eyes feeling relaxed and contented, we discover the butterfly we’ve been chasing is resting right on the back of our hand. If you’ve been trying to manifest something and it’s just not happening, ask the Universe for help, then relax and allow whatever you’ve been chasing to come to you in its own time and way.
