Learning to be kind and loving toward everyone is the most powerful thing you can do to bless yourself.I recently fired a contractor who was doing some work at my house. There had been repeated scheduling problems: I expected workers to show up at a certain time, and they kept showing up hours later. That’s not not why I decided I’d had enough though. The reason I gave up on this company was because of how the owner handled the situation when I was finally able to get her on the phone. If she had been understanding and apologetic, she’d still have my business; instead, she was defensive and argumentative. The whole experience was a great reminder of how we get back what we send out into the world: When we’re kind and caring, we are able to soothe upsets, smooth problems, and align with a much happier and more successful course of experience.
