In September, 2011, I lost my grandmother to cancer. While we hadn’t been very close, I always knew deep down inside that she loved me, and I loved her as well. Two months before she passed away, we experienced a connection like never before. This was really moving for me, for I had always wanted to be closer to her when I was growing up.
When my grandmother passed away, I was hurt, but at the same time, my soul within was changing. I could feel it because I started to ask myself questions about my life and the ways I needed to change. One hot summer day, I went to bed around 10 p.m. Some time later, I felt this presence wake me up from sleep. I felt like I needed to get up. As I was about to get up out of bed, I heard the door to my mom’s room open up and then close back so it was halfway opened. Then I saw this beautiful red light like an orb. It lingered in my doorway for about a full minute, and then it flew away.
The next morning when I woke up, I started researching what I might have seen. That’s when I connected with a psychic who told me that this was my grandmother coming to visit me to help me have faith. Ever since then, I have been on a spiritual journey, finding new ways to live and be my true self, being grateful and cultivating LOVE within. I aim to help the earth shine by sending love and light out, and helping others to see the beauty within themselves and each other.
